What I do like is apple safari for the iphone, in particular. I think it is extremely user friendly for avid iphone uses, and is extremely convenient with its placement of features on the screen (within thumb's reach). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Apple safari automatically comes with apple computers. However, I have found myself using google chrome in favor of apple. It is not as easy to navigate things like bookmarks or extensions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The latency and the integration between Apple devices in Safari are spectacular. Moreover, Safari is super fast and uses low memory compared with google chrome. Furthermore, safari is super convenient, user-friendly, and super intelligent having a great UI and UX which takes it to another level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Apple safari as a web browser is not very well compatible with other operating systems such as Windows and Linux. Moreover, they lack developer community and extensions like google chrome. Moreover, I think they failed to market to the proper customers for which they are well behind google chrome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When I started using computers I started with apple and safari was the first browser I used. The interface is extremely smooth and user friendly. The browser is fast, and I have never felt anything lacking in it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
A lot of web applications are not supported on safari. At our company developers have to put in extra efforts to make web applications compatible with safari. That's the only drawback Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful feature about safari would be that you can use an assistant called Siri to search in what you want. Like i had a time when my hands were full and i just asked siri to search something up for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing i dislike about Safari is that there's no Safari in android or window devices. Safari only runs on apple devices which sucks cause in school we don't use apple devices. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that the private mode does not track any cookie or record any cache, hands down better than Chrome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing as such but the dev tools could have been better Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Security that Safari has to offer can not be beaten it provides the privacy that can not be matched by any other browsing platform. I have been using it for years and it is the best Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a bit difficult to view a website in its desktop version while using safari on mobile. To navigate in a website that has been designed for desktops is a bit difficult. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the window setup of Safari. I like the way the bookmarks can be saved and organized. I also enjoy the layout of the app as well. It is clean and organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No complaints. Everything with safari is always updated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Safari has some of the really cool features like icognito mode, siri suggestions, clean user interference. It can open desktop websites with ease and is quick to respond Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes its lags while switching tabs, it would be better if the browser could be more customisable. Moreover when the network speed is slow, it takes a longer time to display web pages Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Safari is the fastest and cleanest browser. I've experimented with a lot of browsers and as someone that never closes his browser and always has a million tabs open, I recently got rid of Chrome and switched back to Safari. Chrome was getting bogged down with plug-ins and cookies, and whatever internet lingo I don't understand, but point being it was slowing my internet down, which in turn was slowing my work down. There's nothing I inherently dislike about Safari, but it's never been my first choice browser until recently. I used to dislike that it didn't have the ability to build on it with extensions and other community-designed tools, but now I appreciate its clean and smooth operating system. I like how easily Safari communicates with other Apple products. It makes it easy to switch between Apple devices, including my computer, phone, iPad, Apple TV, etc. Safari keeps track of my favorites across all devices and allows me to pick up where I left off in a seamless fashion. I dislike how the overall look and organization of Safari. Chrome is a better option for creating bookmark folders and organizing your toolbar with specific browser extensions. I like that when you accidentally click out of Chrome, it will reopen what tabs you had open prior to closing. Safari may have the functionality to do this as well, but I have not found out how to set that up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
