pCloud gives you a lifetime of data backup for little money. They have secure servers that follow strict privacy standards. Their website and apps are easy to use. You can connect all of your devices. And you can upload files and share them with other people. There's also a built-in media player for watching movies, listening to music, or browsing images. It does everything I want it to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish pCloud had more click-and-drag features like Google Drive. It would make it easier to use. There are slight UX issues like this one that get in the way of using the app sometimes. For example, creating folders and moving a bunch of files around can be tricky. I think they need to invest more in usability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a cloud-based software, so, with internet access, no matter where we are, we can access the files that are hosted there. It also has a mobile version, so its access is not limited only to a computer, since we can enter the platform from the phone and download the files or view them online. We can view the audio and video files that we upload to the system, since it has an audio player and a video player, for convenience, without the need for an additional program. I have had some problems uploading files to the cloud, especially video files, as it takes a long time to upload them. If it would allow integration with similar software to have all the files you have, in the same system, it would be great. The fact that it is a cloud-based system means that you need an excellent internet connection to access the files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The price is competitive, but not outstandingly cheap. The apps and web interface however are shocking, buggy, and have no consideration for being user friendly. The support is to all intents and purposes, useless. So you're buying a price, and you're on your own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- Unreliable service. I have provided all evidence to their team that 800GB of data was lost by their platform without by doing or consent.
- Buggy web user interface, very "barebone" desktop sync app, and the linux cli needs to be restarted every few weeks for clogging the OS with a dump file growing out of control.
- No support: don't expect any empathy or willingness to help you if you experience issues - their support will repeatedly blame you or say that they have not received your response, turn around in circles and restart the conversation with new staff, or "escalate" to never be responded again. I have an email trail going back 3 full months and is yet to be resolved! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The pCloud lets you synch, backup, store files with en ease. You get your virtual drive in the Finder and it acts like another folder on your computer. You can purchase military-grade encryption for the Crypto folder. The file synch between you your computer and pCloud online account is SUPER fast! Almost as fast as my Mac! It doesn't feel like cloud storage at all! Has a great iPhone app and a built-in scanner!
I now removed Dropbox, Google drives, OneDrive from my Mac, backed them up with pCloud, and doing so also made my RAM usage much less now! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While you can back up Dropbox, Google Drive, Facebook, OneDrice you don't have universal management and you can't move files from one of those storages to another.
A little costly for those who pay monthly.
The mobile app scanner needs ipmpoivement. It doesn't have settings and does not remember the settings used.
Public links to share look pretty ugly and there is no link shortener... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is complete sync and backup for all your devices: computer, mobile, and I have used it to back up my server using the WebDAV option in WHM. pCloud offers a 2 TB lifetime offer which makes it the best affordable solution and can be upgraded when needed and shared among your family. pCLoud Drive on Microsoft Windows has a problem when trying to sync large files; it may damage the file and some other files while syncing it; this happened to me; in addition, pcloud WebDAV cannot handle large files while using it as a backup solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The vast amount of storage room is greatly appreciated! I store all my images, files, and videos with room to spare & I've been using PCloud for years. PCloud was by far the best price for the massive amount of storage offered. I also like the easy file sharing feature! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I had some trouble syncing my computer files with my pcloud files, so simply just upload new files every few months. It's my fault though - I shoud take the time to figure out how to sync properly, which would save me time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the best cloud storage services in the market. If you are looking for a cloud storage service to save and share your important files and documents, you can use pCloud business for your needs. We are using pCloud business to share important files with our team members and clients that come for $7.99 per month with a good 1 TB storage space. One of the highlights of Cloud is it won't take your PC space while using on your PC. It acts as external cloud storage on your PC. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the major disadvantages of pCloud is we have to pay additionally to encrypt files, the feature called pCloud Crypto. This is really bad because we are already paying for service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The way that it refreshes when you drop something in to the pCloud and in a flash everybody with access can perceive what you're seeing. It's an extraordinary method to remain coordinated on any PC from anyplace. It's not difficult to sort out as your group has full control of how you need to set up your pCloud framework; for instance, we use envelopes reliant upon customers, organization explicit records, required resources, and pictures. Recordings are effectively transferred. What's more, you can without much of a stretch offer a connection to the pCloud with other people who might not approach yet you need them to see a specific envelope of resources or recordings. The Chrome expansion never appears to turn out accurately for me. Likewise, it didn't actually happen precisely like, on the main arrangement on my telephone, it promptly fired support up photographs that I could never have upheld up on the grounds that they weren't pertinent to the capacity. I can't help thinking that the individual should not have anything like that arranged right away. I had the option to enter the settings just as change them, however it appears as though I'm blowing up Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I share folders with clients. With other services (Dropbox is one example), the client needs to have a Dropbox account AND enough free space on their account to hold the folder I'm sharing with them. With pCloud, they don't need an account and the amount of space I have (4 TBs) is the only thing affected by any folder I share with them.
Also, it's usable across my Windows, Android, and iOS devices. I can see all my saved files no matter what device I'm using. For example, recently I was at a doctor's appointment and the doc needed to see the results of a study that was done a year ago. I happened to keep the results on my pCloud and was able to pull it up on my phone and the doc read it right there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's very little I'd change about the system. One thing I'd like to see is a list of everything that needs to be synced when it's uploading and downloading. Now it shows you the number of files and the total size of what needs to be synced (at least when on a PC), but you don't which files. If you knew which files and you were waiting to shut down, but you definitely needed something synced, you have to wait until 100% is synced to shut down.
Another thing although it's not a dislike as much as "would be nice". I have several different email addresses that I use with different people that I share files with. There is no way to change the email account that's notifying the other person of the share so I have to send the notification from an email account that might not be recognized. The sync folder is my favorite part as it automatically updates only the files changed and I can access it from any of my devices. It was so much more affordable than dropbox. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can't think of anything. I really liked that I can give links to others to add to a shared folder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
