Which CPQ app should I choose for a medium-sized enterprise?

Hey all, I’m curious about CPQ platforms for a mid-sized enterprise and trying to find that balance between flexibility, scalability, and ease of use. We’re not a huge enterprise, but we need more functionality than a lightweight tool can offer.

Here are a few CPQ apps I’m considering. If your company is in the same size range, I’d love to hear what worked or what you’d avoid.

  1. Salesforce Revenue Cloud: Enterprise-grade platform with strong configuration tools and automation. Great if you’re already using Salesforce, though setup can be more involved.
  2. DealHub.io: Flexible and all-in-one. Offers CPQ, digital sales rooms, and contract tools in a single workflow. Often highlighted for ease of use at mid-market scale.
  3. HubSpot Sales Hub: Simpler setup and CPQ-lite features. Better fit if your team already runs on HubSpot and doesn’t need deep customization.
  4. Experlogix CPQ: Good for businesses with complex product logic or configuration needs. May require more hands-on setup but delivers strong flexibility.
  5. PandaDoc: Easy to get started with for quoting and contracts. Works well for teams that need streamlined document workflows and some CPQ features.

If you’ve rolled out CPQ at a mid-sized company, what tool did you pick and why? Anything you’d do differently the second time?

I’m considering Salesforce Revenue Cloud and DealHub.io for CPQ in a medium-sized enterprise. Would love to hear how they compare in terms of ease of setup and handling complex deal structures.
