Google Cloud is one of the most reliable cloud hosting provider, I have been using it for the past 2 years and so far I did not face any issues. Mostly I use Google Cloud Virtual Machine with Static IP, they charge for the ingress and egress charges through that IP Address, the configuration I choose for the VM comes under always free tier and I don't have to may anything for the VM. They don't have any dedicated technical support which I feel is a must for a cloud hosting provider Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have used multiple Google Cloud services, be it there Compute Engine, Firestore and the Kubernetes Engine. I really like how easy it is to spin up a machine and deploy your application and User Interface is quite simple and straightforward. I had also used other Cloud Platforms but what impressed me was the BigQuery and how it makes data analysis on massive data so fast and simple. I have used Firestore services like Storage and Realtime database for my app developments, and like how smoothly they integrate and interact. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I strongly believe that they should increase the time for the free tier, so that users get more time to look and try services and then lock them out. Some services also lack the level of regional availability compared to competitors like AWS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a Google Cloud Administrator with two years of hands-on experience, I've had the opportunity to delve deep into the world of cloud computing. Working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) means always being at the forefront of technological advancements, offering robust solutions that scale seamlessly with business needs. The suite of tools available, from BigQuery to Kubernetes, is extensive and powerful, supported by a vibrant and helpful community that makes problem-solving a collaborative effort. The dynamic nature of cloud technology ensures there's always something new to learn, though the vast array of services can be overwhelming for newcomers. Keeping track of costs and optimizing spending requires constant vigilance, and mastering GCP's full potential demands significant time and effort. While rare, service interruptions can impact critical operations, and some areas of the documentation could be more detailed and user-friendly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Google Cloud Storage for Firebase is highly scalable and seamlessly integrates with Firebase Authentication and Firestore. It offers robust security with fine-grained access control and easy integration with other Google Cloud services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The free tier has limited storage and bandwidth, which can be restrictive for growing applications. Pricing can also become expensive at scale, especially when handling high volumes of file downloads. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy to setup multiple services. GCP allows to access them. Firebase, firestore and plenty of other things help a lot for quick solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When we grew there few limitation that came into play. First of all, EU / governments for which we were doing software didn't want US company to store data. We were migrating everything to managed postgres outside of GCP. Additionally, authentication for users was very much linked to GCP and we had to invent a method to change it, which led to some problems with Firebase/firestore. In the end, we felt that the solution locked us in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

While creating the storage bucket it will ask for the location, we need to choose the location very wisely because we can't change it later and it can severely impact the downloading time of the items stored in the bucket.
they don't have any mobile application for monitoring & administrating the usage. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Infrastructure as a Service and Google Drive is SaaS – Software as a Service. Google Cloud is more suitable for enterprises, whereas Google Drive is for personal backups for normal users. Google Cloud doesn't provide 15gb free storage whereas Google Drive does. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support fee is quite hefty, around 150 USD per month for the most basic service (Silver class), Downloading data from Google Cloud Storage is expensive. 0,12 USD per GB. Personally, I find the Google Cloud Platform web interface a bit confusing. Sometimes I get lost while browsing around the menus Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
