What do you like best about AnyDesk?

The best part about AnyDesk is its ease of installation/ implementation and ease of use. It takes so little space and UI is certainly beginner friendly. Additionally, It supports cross platform communication between different Os. It also provides level of securities while accessing other systems remotely. Definitely one of the best platforms for remote access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AnyDesk?

It has both plans paid and free. In free version the connecting time goes up to 1.5 to 2 minutes every 15 minutes or so which becomes frustrating. Also, it needs great internet speed else it starts lagging great amount.

Rest everything is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AnyDesk?

That I don’t think they will exist for very long with their terrible treatment of paying customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AnyDesk?

Terrible experience. I signed up for a one-year contract with AnyDesk. When I no longer needed the software, I contacted them ahead of time to cancel. Instead of accepting the cancellation, they forced a renewal—even though my renewal date hadn’t even arrived yet.

I assumed it was a mistake, but after escalating, they coldly told me I should’ve canceled at least one month before the renewal date. Seriously? Why not just make it 10 years in advance? This kind of policy is clearly designed to trap users.

I had actually considered returning to AnyDesk in the future, but after this, never again. This company does not care about customers—only about locking them in. Stay far away. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AnyDesk?

Lets us set up more powerful tower stations for drafting and machiner operation, and then access those on the go while travelling, while away from the office, and we even have remote team members on the other side of the world that hop on. It is the easiest program to use, takes a few seconds to get someone set up on it. We rely on anydesk heavily in our business, and use it every day. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AnyDesk?

Only thing i think can be annoying, is that you dont have to install it to run it, however there is some features that are better when its installed. it is not easy to tell if you did actually install, or have just been using the downloaded program for ages. but that is more of a learning curve than product issue. Maybe a nice and easy to access install button if you are on the software would be nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AnyDesk solving and how is that benefiting you?

Allows us to use more powerful (and cost effective) tower workstations and have people remote into them to use as needed, 1 or 2 powerful workstations can take the place of a handful of oversized and overpriced laptops. There is also programs specific to our industry we use that are really expensive to buy a licence for, and since we dont need a full liccenced user all the time, rather a few people using it part time, we can have one and share it. - Its simple to use without installtion

- It has a contact book of previously connected devices

- The clip board copy and paste for transfering files works well

- It WAS a good alternative to TeamViewer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AnyDesk?

A locked count down negging screen asking you to sign up for the pro-paid version makes this tool unuseable when you are trying to support friends and family. I have been forced to find alternatives.

I tried to sign up for the pro-paid version but after reading their predatory cancellation policy, I don't trust them.

No direct phone number for support. Email support was not aswered after 2 weeks. Might as well not have support.

Customer capture and enshitification.

Beware do not use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about AnyDesk?

It allows for servers to be restarted or user computers to be worked on without having to wait for authorization. It hardly even lags with good internet connections which has to be a compliment in today’s world. The software is user-friendly and therefore has a short setup process. File sharing and text chat are also pretty useful during the session as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AnyDesk?

The integration is straightforward even though at times the server is rather tricky and comes to a halt at some point. It has the drawback of fully relying on the internet connection and therefore may be affected by network issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AnyDesk solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is mostly used to help our clients who have problems in identifying faulty hardware and software. With it, I can be linked to multiple local servers at the same time. It can fix any issue once remote desktop access is granted to the client. I review their code and help them sort out the problems my team is facing. This makes it possible for me to solve their problems. Regardless of my physical distance from my friends, family, and coworkers, I am capable of helping them. If I am required to use the work computer when I am not at the workplace, then I can do so from home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
