There are lots of voices to choose from, and interesting ways to get them to pronounce the words correctly. Tone of voice was a little harder to get right, but for the most part I have been able to figure it out adequately. I like that you can use multiple voices in a single project, so, for example, you can have each character in a book have a different voice.
But wow that's a lot of work, and I haven't decided if it's worth it. I may come back to the books in the future and modify them. Since Elevenlabs saves the books in an easy to find dashboard, that will be eminently possible.
It lets you organize your book into chapters, and the export function is easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was a lot of work to sort through the voices and decide which one was best for my project. I don't know how it could be improved.
Since my books are science fiction, with aliens, I have some unusual names, I had to figure out tricks to get the voices to pronounce each name correctly, and occasionally (not often) it would pronounce the name right in one paragraph, then give a different pronunciation in another paragraph. Just means you have to be on your toes and catch these things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love how realistic and human-like the AI voices sound. The platform is incredibly intuitive, making it easy to upload text and generate high-quality voiceovers quickly. I’ve used it for training content and internal projects, and the results are always polished. It also offers great customization options for tone and pacing, which helps match the delivery to the message. It's my go to for any project that requires voiceover. I try to use it as much as possible. It is quick enough to implement it into building our training modules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are occasional hiccups with pronunciation or tone, especially when dealing with industry-specific jargon or names as well as spacing and timing. It would also be helpful to have a few more voice styles in the default or lower tiered plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about ElevenLabs is the incredibly natural and expressive quality of the voices. The AI-generated speech sounds remarkably human, with subtle inflections, emotions, and pacing that make it perfect for audiobooks, voiceovers, and other professional projects. I also appreciate how easy the platform is to use, and how quickly it generates high-quality audio. The voice cloning feature is another standout — powerful, accurate, and surprisingly intuitive.
The customer support at ElevenLabs is responsive, helpful, and genuinely committed to solving issues quickly.
Integrating ElevenLabs into my existing tools and processes was seamless, thanks to the well-documented API and user-friendly interface.
Implementing ElevenLabs into my workflow was incredibly straightforward – the platform is intuitive, and the API integration was quick and hassle-free.
I use ElevenLabs almost daily for content creation, voiceovers, and experimenting with new audio ideas – it’s become an essential tool in my workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While ElevenLabs is an outstanding platform, one thing I’d like to see improved is the pricing structure — it can get a bit expensive for high-volume users or smaller creators. Additionally, more granular control over voice emotions and tone in the editor would be a great enhancement. That said, the team seems to be updating the platform regularly, so I’m hopeful these features will come in the future. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

From the thousands of different voices to being able to create your own voice and modify its parameters to adjust it, makes elevenlabs the best platform! I use it a lot for speaking bots in algorithmic streaming and even proposed it in my company due to the high audio quality and superhuman voice tones, making it one of the best voice platforms ever seen! I am very happy to have such a tool to give voice to anything in a 100% human way! Congratulations to the whole team, the API used in my Python scripts generates audio in super short times allowing for almost instant interaction, and lastly, I want to highlight the help bot, I show it to everyone as the ideal example of what every company should have because it is very resolute, it takes you to the pages, answers absolutely everything about the platform, guys congratulations truly for what you have created!! Truly incredible!! Regards!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I don't like is that it doesn't have the option to set the page in Spanish. I've also heard some voices, very few but they exist, that have very poor recording quality. They shouldn't even be on the platform because although ElevenLabs is excellent, some users upload poor quality in their recordings. Nothing more to say! The platform is excellent! The thing I like most about eleven labs is the ease of use for generating sound effects and various voices for narrations! Sometimes I get such great end result I can’t stop trying more! The voices sound very natural and very little obstruction. Easy to understand and use for work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a number of elements elevenlabs could work on.
1) For sound effects and ambient music I only get up to 22 seconds so stuck with looping type music rather than be able to continue the sound for a longer period.
2) When adding paragraphs of text into the text area for narration, if the voice comes out 90% ok and there are weird pronounciations or missed beats, I can’t reroll just that sentence, and any minor change I have to pay in credits for the ENTIRE re-roll and the voice won’t match. So it costs way too much to fix minor errors. I have to chop up the text into bite size pieces to make sure each sentence or paragraph id narrated correctly, then every separate new posted paragraph makes the voice change so it is not matching continuity. Very very big problem for me.
3) No way organize or easily manage my sounds and have endless scrolling to find my original prompts. We need folders, we need organization especially as I assume most people use this ai tool for work, time is money and if I have to spend 10x more time hunting for files or prompts than it takes to get a fresh prompt output that’s a problem.
4) When creating a new voice, hardly is it ever accurate. And we only get to pick one voice out of 3, but the other two we may like but disappear into the void after we pick “the one voice we like”. Sometimes its not even accurate to the prompt.
5) Let us download .wav files not just .mp3 as the quality is much much better for professionals that want to clean up the error residue the ai left behind. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that ElevenLabs is integrated with Make.com. I can set up a scenario (workflow) to grab information from various sources, run it through a script in a chatbot, and then thanks to the API key and the ElevenLabs module, have that script fed to ElevenLabs automatedly to be read by the voice of my choosing. Then, I can have the finished audio file either emailed to me or uploaded to Dropbox for sharing. Most of the voices sound very real, with am excellent variety to choose from. Currently, the new Eleven Labs project model is not available via their module in Make.com. I'd like that availability, so I can use a script with multiple voices and have it read by multiple voices and saved/exported as just the one audio file.
The module in Make.com also doesn't currently allow you to chooss the speed of something to be read, which you can do manually on the ElevenLabs website.
There's also a small handful of voices cloned on the ElevenLabs website, where the audio quality is not up to scratch. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The voice cloning is remarkably lifelike and requires minimal tuning. It’s fast, scalable, and easy to plug into automated content systems. As an agency, we’ve integrated it into our backend using n8n, and it just works—zero friction. The ability to create multiple voices and maintain emotional nuance is unmatched. Perfect for turning founder content into podcasts, narrations, and repurposed media at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Limited custom control over voice pitch/tone post-cloning without re-recording inputs. It also lacks advanced voice style transfer or emotion fine-tuning features. Some premium features are gated behind higher tiers, which makes experimenting harder unless you upgrade early. More real-time support options would help streamline setup for new users. To make my own voice sound even more amazing with the International version of Eleven Labs. I enjoy reading poems and literary works with them. I also use them for webcasting. It has a very easy to use interface. And everything is very clearly explained. Whether you clone your own voice or use one of a variety of different voices. I use it almost every day because my followers love the sounds I produce. Very professional software, and so is what they produce. It is almost impossible to tell if it is a production or a clone. The feature I use the most is the voice changer. It also has the ability to clone your own voice and chat. You can also dub the text with the voice of your choice. I find it pointless to be able to add up to 10 voices within my own voices. Why is it limited to 10, it doesn't make sense. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Elevenlabs provide to me the best easy experience and very plug and play platform to clone voices, to use library voice who other people already made, They have an unique customer support using the integrated AI assistance, Im using this tool every single day to create things that I think would be imposible for someone with low knowledge in coding. Really easy to integrate with other APIS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing... Elevenlabs is perfect
You probably think this is a AI message... BUT NO, This tool is so amazing to use
Every single day I got deep with the new things that elevenlabs is building
its totally U-N-I-Q-U-E Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The quality of the voice and how it remains consistent with each new voice creation, I like the ease with which my voice can be copied and the catalog of voices it has, the API is easy to use and program, I haven't had any problems using it, I like that in the web version you have the opportunity to recreate the same voice line twice without consuming credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The quality of the voice declines after 300 continuous characters, so I have to divide the text into this length to avoid losing quality. I have tried testing the API and the chapter function, but it has the same problem. When using the API, it doesn't have the option to not consume credits when recreating the same line. It should be possible to implement in the API the ability to recreate without consuming credits for a certain character length. Although I find their price competitive for the quality they offer, competitors are emerging that offer results for half or a quarter of the price that are increasingly approaching the quality of Eleven.
