Most of our customers have migrated their services from on-prem to Azure. They are using different services like virtual machines, Azure file share, Blob storage, database, etc. Different to other backup products or solutions, Azure Backup is the best and most seamless backup solutions for broader Azure ecosystem. It is integrated to all the Azure services. When deploying it, you can find the backup options in the page of every Azure resources.
It can also backup anything outside of Azure. With Azure Backup, you can management backup in a single portal for all services that your customers are using within Azure and on-prem.
The Azure backup working seamlessly with Azure Site Recovery to minimize the impact on disaster happened. We can minimize the downtime from full disaster recovery alongside backup.
The application-consistent backup is the best feature. It ensure that backup are application-consistent, not just file-consistent. When you restore system, it's restored to a usable status without any corrupted databases or incomplete transactions in applications. It's useful for SQL Server or any production applications. There is nothing that I dislike. If there is one, the pricing could be much simpler. The pricing is based on storage tiers, retention policies and outbound data transfer cost. You need to understand how it charges if you just start using it. But after 1-2 months, you will understand how it works. Optimizing to get the balance of the cost and backup could be easily done too. So you don't need to worry too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Things that I like about the Microsoft Azure are firstly the user friendly interface which is understandable to everyone easily, and it is easy to implement the resources which are easily traceable , like all the insights are shown in a very good way making the users to use it frequently, also the integration to the apps is also easier compared to other cloud platforms. The only thing that i have dislike on is the customer support, its not that bad but they can improve more in providing fast replies to the tickets that are raised by the customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Microsoft Azure stands out for its comprehensive suite of cloud services that support a wide range of business needs, from simple app hosting to advanced AI and machine learning solutions. Its global reach with an extensive network of data centers ensures high availability, low latency, and regulatory compliance across regions. Azure’s integration with Microsoft products like Office 365, Active Directory, and Dynamics makes it incredibly easy for enterprises to transition to the cloud. I particularly appreciate its security-first approach, with built-in threat protection and compliance certifications, which gives great peace of mind. Additionally, Azure's flexibility in hybrid cloud setups and its strong developer ecosystem make it a top choice for modern digital transformation initiatives. While Microsoft Azure offers powerful capabilities, the platform can be complex and overwhelming for new users, with a steep learning curve compared to some competitors. Pricing structures can also be confusing and sometimes unpredictable, especially when scaling services across multiple regions or using specialized offerings like AI and advanced analytics. In addition, support response times can occasionally be slower than expected for non-premium customers, which can be frustrating when dealing with critical issues. Finally, some services feel less polished compared to competitors like AWS, particularly in areas such as documentation clarity and portal performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Azure Blob Storage offers great scalability, strong security features, and flexible storage tiers to support a wide range of use cases like archival and/or real-time data access. It integrates easily with other Azure services, is straightforward to implement, and provides a highly durable and cost-effective solution for storing unstructured data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While overall performance is excellent, initial setup of access control and understanding all the pricing tiers can require a bit of a learning curve Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I think Azure's development is very fast paced. Keeping track of new changes especially UI elements is hard. I wish there was an option to still keep the legacy layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its an great cloud platform to manage your resources which are scable upto a great instant without so much hustle. Its very easy to implement, use and integrate to other microsoft services like office 365, AD etc.. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Azure has vast varitiy of serivces, be it PAAS, SAAS, or IAAS, so depending on your solution needs you can choose your prefered option.
- Integration with 3rd party tools is easier to implement and secure with OAuth 2.0 approach (based on Azure service principal)
- Do you want to host a simple static website -> just use Storage account, or VM, or App service, choice is yours!
- Facing any issues with any of the implemented solution? Just get in touch with Microsoft support (you need to have the basic support plan) and they will help you to sort out the issue in the best way possible.
- The Azure portal interface is simple and easy to use, resource are grouped using resource groups, so segration of Environments can be done on Subscription and resource group level.
- Analysing the cost is easier at scope of resource group or subscription level.
- There are multiple ways by which you can monitor your application and setup alerts as per your solution's requirement.
- Permission management & assignment is easier with Role based access control.
- Being a frequent user of Azure for more than 5 years, I would highly recommand the use of Azure for your next solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
- For most of the services they provide good SLA, however if there are any issues, eg. Network timeout for consumption based logic apps, Azure Data factory, then even if we contact the support, there is a high chance that the support team may not be able to provide you detailed log info, and you have to implement a retry or some sort of workaround.
- Sometimes due to temporary outage of services, alert firing might be missed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's hard to pick a tool within the platform that I like the most, as it's very comprehensive. However, I really like the integration with Microsoft Entra ID, where you can assign roles to users and also set access rules to resources within Microsoft Azure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Azure platform is really quite complete. So far, I haven't found anything I don't like, because it has worked very well in the company. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I don't dislike anything about Azure but some services like Application Gateway and Azure Cognitive Services can be a bit costly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Simplicity and features that helps intrgrate different things with ease. We are currently storing csv files mostly. I am using it daily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Different Groups we need to create for access control which is I feel needs to be improved a bit. This process of adding users to the existing group can be improved. For a user outside from a group is very difficult sometimes to access files from Blobs. We can add creating date-time in the default view in Storage Explorer, this will help me tracking files properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
