One area of frustration has been the length of time it has taken for ADP to acquire a state registration number for my state tax filings. Since moving to ADP in 2016, we have never looked back. The ease of using the RUN program makes payroll a breeze. Whenever we have had a question, it has been answered quickly and efficiently. During COVID, we were able to process special pay categories to comply with ERC guidelines. It's so easy to ensure that your payroll is done right!
The implementation team is there to guide you step by step and the features to track benefit co-pays, education reimbursement, PLAWA, bonuses and vacation are so helpful to keep track of it all - with total compliance. Ease of integration was phenomenal!

I frequently hop into RUN every few days. It's such a time-saving tool and one-stop shop for all things HR, payroll, and benefit tracking. The payroll preview feature allows us to manage the upcoming paychecks and deductions for budgeting purposes for the upcoming payroll and making last minute changes easily. On the submit date, all you have to do is approve it and you are done. The reports are well put together and we can easily share information with our accountant.

It is completely user friendly from someone that has worked in a corporate setting before. After starting my own brick and mortar I needed something that could complete hourly payroll tips and commission. It was clear that it was a good choice after dropping my previous payroll company. The price point and customer service is top notch. The main site is so user friendly and navigation is easy. If i did have a problem I would not hesitate to call into the customer help line. The only thing that I dislike is that I am not signed up for the clock in clock out function ( it is not needed for my store). Because of this when i put in payroll i cant separate the line pays by date. I can submit separate pay lines just not with a date attached to it. I was thrown into the HR role with very little training. As a family owned business, I took on the task to save on payroll. We were previously with Paychex and I had very little access to account management features or HR resources. We quickly switched to RUN/ADP and have been with them for about 8 years now. I have learned so much about compliance, record keeping, employee benefits, and tax forms just by having access to the RUN dashboard. We are a small business but I feel like we have the resources of a much larger company through our partnership with ADP. I was able to build an Employee Handbook tailored to our company and updated it regularly as laws and business needs change. I have been using ADP for almost a full year now and I have to say, it is by far my favorite Payroll system I have used to date. It's ease of use and hassle free implementation are some of it's top qualities. If I have to leave the office for some reason I have no doubt my stand in will be able to run payroll without much fuss. I have used live chat many times when things come up or I have a question and they are ususally quick to come up with an answer. Onboarding new employees is also a painless process, with the option to enter the info myself or send it to them to do so. There are only a couple things I have had issues with so far in using ADP, one of which has been Unemployment withholding percentage mixups and the other is reports. I believe the SUI mixups are more of a result on how Alaska presents the information because I also had issues with QB on the same thing last year. As far as the reports, I can find most of what I'm looking for but there are times I can't find exactly what I want, that was availble in my previous system. ADP Payroll services was an excellent choice to switch over from Quickbooks Payroll. They handle all my payroll taxes and anytime I have a question, they are very imformative and prompt handling it. They have very competitive pricing with a variety of other services.

I like the reminders when running payroll if an employee has a variance in their pay. The system is easy to use. Payroll is easy to run. Overall Customer Service has been helpful. There are things other systems do that RUN does not, for example when clocking hourly time it only does exact time, unless you want to manually change punches. Employees do not always punch exactly on time so there is always punches that need to be fixed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Run is so easy to navigate through, adding employees and all information necessary for their payroll profiles. Processing is an easy process. Setting up our new account was very successful with follow up along the way and also having an implementation team available for questions. Features are easy to navigate through and the integration from our old payroll company to ADP was amazingly seamless and thorough. Wish I could add customized deduction codes, ie: we do an automatic half hour deduction, I am manually entering this on a daily basis. We don't accrue vacation, PTO, or sick time so again have a deduction code so I could enter on their time sheet would be fantastic. I had both of the features with previous company.
