ScaleOps Overview

What is ScaleOps?

Cut K8s costs by up to 80%, without impacting application performance or degrading cluster reliability. ScaleOps is an automated, real-time Kubernetes resource optimization platform operating in 1000s of production clusters. The ScaleOps platform intelligently optimizes CPU, memory, and placement based on live cluster conditions and workload behavior. By operating at the most granular level, the pod, we drive meaningful savings that cluster-wide tools simply can’t match. ScaleOps is completely self-hosted, fast to deploy, and safe for mission-critical apps.

What do you like best about ScaleOps?

The ScaleOps dashboard is intuitive and user-friendly, making it easy to navigate and understand. It clearly highlights where cost savings can be made and provides actionable recommendations, which makes optimization feel effortless rather than overwhelming.

We followed the official documentation and were able to install ScaleOps on our clusters using Argo CD in just a couple of hours. Everything worked seamlessly right out of the box, and we started seeing immediate cost savings without having to make complex adjustments.

The ScaleOps team has been fantastic from the start. They provided excellent guidance during onboarding and continue to be responsive and helpful whenever we have questions. Their support has made a big difference in getting the most value out of the platform.

Overall, ScaleOps has been a valuable addition to our infrastructure, helping us reduce cloud costs with minimal effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about ScaleOps?

It would be great if ScaleOps can optimise the target average utilisation of an hpa, if historic data shows that the workload never reaches the target. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is ScaleOps solving and how is that benefiting you?

ScaleOps is helping us solve two major problems: cloud cost inefficiency and the operational overhead of managing Kubernetes resource requests. By automatically optimizing resource allocations, we're seeing significant cost savings without sacrificing performance. Additionally, developers no longer need to spend time fine-tuning CPU and memory requests—ScaleOps handles it all automatically. This not only improves our efficiency but also enhances the developer experience by allowing teams to focus on building features instead of infrastructure tuning.
