Having switched from ManageWP to WP-umbrella, I'm genuinely impressed by the difference. The user interface is refreshingly uncluttered and logically organised, which has noticeably improved my daily workflow.
What stands out most is how thoughtfully designed the features are. Each function serves a clear purpose, addressing real needs rather than adding unnecessary complexity. This attention to detail demonstrates a solid understanding of what WordPress professionals actually require.
The transition has been remarkably smooth, with WP-umbrella offering substantial improvements in both reliability and functionality compared to my previous solution.
I must also commend their support team, whose responsiveness has been exceptional. Recently, when facing a complicated integration issue, they provided prompt, knowledgeable assistance that went beyond what I expected.
For professionals managing multiple WordPress sites, WP-umbrella represents a significant upgrade that delivers tangible benefits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly cannot say there is anything comes to mind that I could honestly say I don't like. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Super simple to use, very easy to set up. I had a minor problem with my configuration when I first set up, but support was very quick to remedy it and I've had no problems yet. I use this software every day, and have had no trouble with it since I set it up. All of my sites update with no problems, and it looks like the rollback feature will be incredibly handy if I need it.
Great piece of software! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a bit hard to figure out where everything is located, so I find myself clicking around to get to the right spot. Once you figure out where something is, it does make sense, but I would like it if the menus were a bit more streamlined. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Automation of all the website I'm responsible for. Plugin, Theme and Wordpress Updates, Backups. Reports for Clients. So many useful things with a fair price.
There are other tools on the market, but the price in combination with the features is unbeatable.
Other good Points: It is easy to use and integrate, the customer support is quick and perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
New features take some time, so the updates of the tool are only a few per year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The set of features are awesome, the pricing is extremely reasonable (even for countries with struggling economy standards) and the team is really responsive and always bringing solutions to the table.
They are always listening to their users and shaping the product with user feedback at a great pace. That's some new fresh energy from a growing company that the competitors already lost.
It's super easy to use and implement, scalable and the user experience is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing to dislike really, just take into account the product is relativetily new and in full development and some functionality may be on their way or differ from other advanced (but convoluted) solutions. Anyway, they took several critical features and developed them really fast!
My only wish is to have a Free tier for sites that won't have an active care plan but still need to monitor slightly. This is the only thing preventing me from ditching ManageWP for good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It was such an easy migration from our previous platform, Manage WP. All sites got added by Boris from WP Umbrella, who did a great job and responded quickly. We sent the migration request form, and within an hour we had a response from Boris, and within 3 hours all sites were transferred. The Google Site Speed integration is great, same for the backups and the rollbacks for plugins. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only drawback is that Manage WP doesn't have an export functions for the clients, so we'll have to add those manually, but that's not the fault of WP Umbrella. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The simplicity of setup and the quick support. I love the white label reporting and the white label plugin Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of anything yet, I have found the whole experience good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I manage 30 Wordpress sites and this is by far the best tool I've found to keep them up to date. The UI is clean and beautifully designed, and they are very responsive to feature requests. Highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to have bulk pricing once you get to a certain number of websites, though to be fair the pricing is pretty good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Support and transparency from the development team.
They have a clear goal of what they want to build and they're constantly taking on feedback.
I've been using WPUmbrella for my client sites since the early days of WPUmbrella. I've provided lots of feedback to the developers and they've acted upon them.
This is absolutely a platform that is being built by people that understand their users.
There support is also superb, everytime I've had a question or noticed a bug, they've replied quickly and resolved the issue quickly.
The platform is easy to use as well compared to competitors and the fact that white label is included and not an added extra, is a huge win. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform is new compared to others and this isn't always a bad thing, but it does mean it can have some issues which competitors do not experience.
These issues are rare and when reported are resolved quickly.
The most frustrating issue I've had was when WPUmbrella could no longer communicate with a client site, I had no idea this had happened, no email sent to me and the notification of this issue was "hidden" on a rarely used page.
I've sent feedback on this issue and they agreed this wasn't a great way to notify of a disconnection and are looking to improve this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The WP Umbrella team is always innovating, working hard to improve their product. Customer support is great; the team is very responsive. They offer a migration service but implementation was so simple, I was able to do it myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WP Umbrella is still a fairly new service so it might not offer all the bells and whistles other services offer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This tool gives you a clear view of the status of the various Wordpress sites you manage. Updating extensions, notifications when one of your sites includes a risky extension (or a risky version of one of your extensions), updating themes, creating automatic and manual backups, and much more... all these features make WP umbrella a tool that has become indispensable to me. On top of this, Aurelio and his team offer fast, efficient service, and are ready to answer any questions you may have. In short, I can't find a single negative aspect to this extension, which will become an indispensable addition to your business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have nothing negative to say about the platform, because WP Umbrella is so efficient and effective that if anyone encounters any difficulties on the platform, it's down to their own poor handling (which seems unlikely to me, given how intuitive the tool is). And I say this because the only time I've ever had to contact support was because of a mistake on my part (which was dealt with very quickly and sympathetically by the team).
