Reliable Quality – Audio and video are consistently clear, even with large groups.
Great Features – I really appreciate the screen sharing, breakout rooms, and recording options—they make collaboration smooth and flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I Dislike About Zoom:
Time Limits on Free Plan – The 40-minute limit on group meetings for free accounts can be frustrating and interrupt productive conversations.
Can Be Resource-Heavy – Zoom sometimes uses a lot of CPU or battery, especially during long meetings with video on.
Too Many Updates – Frequent software updates can be a hassle, especially when they pop up right before a meeting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of setting up the event/webinar is very streamlined. Once it is setup, the tools provided to add panelists or other co-hosts is very simple. Additionally, the built-in marketing tools provided are very helpful to promote and get sign-ups. Lastly, the backstage collaboration is very nice before an event to make sure everyone is ready to go before starting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The solution can be very expenses depending on your need, especially for larger audiences (100+). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I appreciate Zoom Events and Webinars for their polished, professional presentation tools and ability to scale to large audiences without sacrificing quality. From the attendee’s perspective, the experience is nearly as simple as joining a regular Zoom meeting; making it accessible even for less tech-savvy users. The controlled webinar environment allows hosts to manage engagement smoothly while keeping distractions minimal. This balance of ease of use for participants and robust tools for organizers makes Zoom an ideal platform for high-impact virtual events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
the back-end interface can be a bit hard to navigate, especially for users who are more familiar with regular Zoom Meetings. Finding where to set up or manage events isn’t always intuitive, and switching between meetings and webinars can feel confusing. The differences in functionality- like attendee controls, interaction settings, and registration options - aren’t always clearly explained, which can lead to mistakes or missed features if you’re not experienced with the platform. Zoom events and webinars can support and handle a large amount of audience in real time. It has break out room feature as well to break large audience into smaller groups. It's ideal for brainstorming and mind mapping sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Ease of use and its native integration with HubSpot so we can utilize our custom landing pages and still properly register contacts with the Zoom Event. I also like the reporting capabilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No major standouts. Once and a while the integration runs into a minor issue but very seldom. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We were using Zoom as a company for years. Our needs changed and then we started to try to downgrade our license count and omg it's like trying to cancel a gym membership.
Zoom: We need a meeting!
Me: No we don't. Just cancel the licenses please.
Zoom: we need a meeting to discuss why you want to downgrade.
Me: No we don't. Just cancel the licenses please.
Zoom: oh, looks like you are on a yearly plan and cannot cancel.
Me: no we aren't. It's monthly. Please cancel.
Me: closes the ticket. I'll cancel the credit card we pay with before dealing with this any longer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's always new updates that come in so handy when hosting virtual events. The ease that comes with being a host and co-host when facilitating virtual events diminishes the cognitive overload from facilitating content. One of the most valuable things is sending participants automatically to breakout rooms, especially when we have a mix of joining via laptop, tablet, and phone - this also lifts the burden from the participants and enhances their experience. Not a dislike, but an opportunity for improvement:
1. 90% of the time, folks accidentally return to the main room from breakouts because they accidentally hit the 'return to main room' thinking they closed the 'breakout rooms are closing' message. Perhaps make the 'return to main room' button less prominent, move the message box lower/higher to avoid blocking participants' faces, or add a second message to confirm they want to return to the main room.
2. When we broadcast messages to breakout rooms, it is not prominent enough and only lasts a few seconds, so inadvertently, some folks miss it entirely or only get to read part of it. Having this message pop up in a brighter color and last longer would be helpful, especially when the message is a call to action when they return to the main room. Our educational events are recorded for later viewing by some of the attendees who could not attend live. The fact that they have increased the available recording space as part of our account has been a positive for our use of this platform. The recordings are clear and there are rare problems. I am not as impressed with their transcription. For some reason they make using Otter.ai as the transcription tool harder than it used to be, likely to promote their own service. I have to use an external device to transcribe the webinars in Otter.ai Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
