I understand the "rules" around the verification of using your number for texting. However, the "sign-up process" for having the ability to text is cumbersome and a deterrent. There are SOOOO MANY texting services that simply allow you to sign-up, provide a few points of data (e.g., business verification) and, upon confirming with the telco provider (which takes 1-3 days), you're off and running. Honestly, I hate how many questions you guys ask, which is why I use an entirely different service for texting. All of the verbiage confirmation and such is just noise.
