It is easy to use. I feel that it is the best platform to use for communication with other team members, as well as for the company in whole.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

have been using it first at university level and now at professional level I have to say it has everything that i can ask for weather chatting with team members , calling , vid calling , sharing docs and creating groups etc love all of them Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Two things i think need some improvements

First of all the resource usage of the application is quite high and I think it can be optimized specially the internet part of it when calling/video calling the internet hangs a bit ( I have a good internet connection)

and the second one is the sync feature although I can say it is quite fast but still there are some delay like receiving the call on my mobile 3-4 seconds earlier than the pc/laptop one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

optimize the application a bit more or maybe make it use the resources based on the availability ( specially internet like for slow internet adjust the quality and don't affect the other search features I mean I get it you want to have the best possible quality and stuff and making room for other uses would be more nicer) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

What I love most about Microsoft Teams is how it centralizes communication, file sharing, and project collaboration into a single, intuitive platform. The ability to create different channels for teams and projects keeps everything organized, and the integration with other Microsoft 365 tools like OneDrive and Outlook makes it a seamless experience. Its video conferencing quality and real-time collaboration features are top-notch, especially for remote work environments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Sometimes, the app can feel a bit heavy on system resources, especially when running on older machines or when there are multiple video calls and apps open. Also, the learning curve for new users can be slightly steep due to the abundance of features. Notifications can occasionally be inconsistent, causing you to miss some messages unless you're constantly checking the app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Teams has helped us solve the challenge of maintaining smooth communication and collaboration across a fully remote team. Before adopting Teams, our workflow was fragmented—chat in one app, meetings in another, and files scattered across platforms. Now, everything is in one place, which saves us time and keeps everyone aligned. It also helps reduce email overload and allows for quick decision-making through chat and video meetings. Microsoft continues to improve the platform with regular updates, and it’s clear they’re moving in the right direction by focusing on user experience, integrations, and hybrid work support. What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I love how Teams pulls chat, video calls, and file sharing into one place. The tight Office 365 integration means I can jump from a quick chat to co-editing a document or running a meeting without ever leaving the app Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

he biggest drawback for me is how resource hungry Teams can be on busy days it hogs memory and slows everything else down. Add in the occasionally cluttered UI and the awkward juggling when you have to switch between multiple tenants, and it can feel more cumbersome than collaborative Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

Teams wipes out the old mess of scattered emails, endless chat apps by giving everyone a single hub for messaging, meetings, and real-time co-editing, it keeps conversations and documents tied together, so projects move faster and nothing slips through the cracks especially handy when half the team’s remote and we still need to feel like we’re in the same room Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft teams is now daily used by our organisation to arrange meetings, text, video calls an also file sharing.

The best feature which is like is its User Interface which is way better than Webex. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Sometimes it closes suddenly which is a little annoying.

Screen sharing is not as good as Webex.

If you are a small organisation you dont need to buy the product but if you want to add more than 100 members it can be a little too much pricey. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Microsoft Teams:

I would very highly recommend everyone to use Microsoft teams as it is very reliable.

You can do video conferencing with many people without any interruption and also share your screen for presentations.

A small advice that your internet connection should be high in order to use it or else video gets interrupted sometimes and lags too. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

With a team of more than 50 members, teams is very helpful for such a large audience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

It allows for efficient collaboration by bringing together chat, video conferencing, file sharing, and app integrations in a single platform. Features like real-time co-authoring in Word or Excel, threaded conversations, and team channels significantly enhance productivity and communication. The interface is intuitive, and the ability to schedule and join meetings directly from the calendar is a huge time-saver. For remote or hybrid teams, it serves as a centralized hub for both work and communication. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

While Microsoft Teams is a powerful collaboration tool, there are a few areas where it could improve. The application can feel resource-intensive, especially on older devices, leading to occasional slow performance. Notification management can also be overwhelming at times, particularly in large teams with multiple channels. Additionally, navigating between chats, teams, and files isn't always as smooth as it could be, and it can take a few extra clicks to find what you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Teams solves the challenge of fragmented communication and collaboration by bringing everything into a single, unified platform. Instead of switching between multiple apps for chat, video calls, file sharing, and task management, Teams centralizes all of these functions. This streamlines workflow, improves response times, and enhances team productivity.

For me, it has greatly reduced email overload, made virtual meetings more efficient, and improved collaboration on documents in real time. Having conversations, shared files, and meeting notes all in one place ensures better organization and smoother project execution especially in remote and hybrid work environments. What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The best thing about Microsoft Teams is how well it integrates with the rest of the Microsoft 365 suite. Jumping between Teams, Outlook, SharePoint, and OneDrive is seamless, which really boosts productivity. The chat and channel structure also makes collaboration organized and easy to track, especially for remote or hybrid teams. I also appreciate the video meeting features—scheduling, screen sharing, and breakout rooms are all smooth and reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

What I find frustrating is that Teams can feel cluttered and unintuitive, especially for new users. Notifications can be overwhelming, and navigating between chats, channels, and meetings isn’t always as fluid as it should be. Also, performance can lag on slower machines, and occasionally, syncing issues with files or calendar events crop up. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Teams solves the problem of scattered communication and disjointed collaboration. Instead of juggling emails, chat apps, and file-sharing tools, everything we need is centralized in one place—chat, meetings, document collaboration, and task tracking. This has made team communication more efficient, reduced delays in decision-making, and improved overall productivity. It's especially beneficial for remote and hybrid work, where real-time collaboration and access to shared resources are critical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

I appreciate how Microsoft Teams integrates chats, video meetings, file sharing, and task management into one platform. The seamless connection with other Microsoft 365 apps like Outlook and OneDrive boosts productivity, and the ability to create different channels for each project helps keep conversations organized and easy to follow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The most helpful aspect is its real-time communication—whether it's a quick message, a scheduled meeting, or impromptu video call. Notifications are timely, the search function is effective, and the ability to co-author documents in Word or Excel without leaving the app saves time. The desktop and mobile versions are consistent, and guest access is useful for collaborating with external stakeholders. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

keeps everything in one spot. I can message my team, hop on a quick video call, or share files without needing to open a bunch of different apps. It just makes things easier and helps me stay on top of work without feeling all over the place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The most important thing for me how messy it can get with too many channels and threads. it’s easy to lose track of conversations. Also, the search function doesn’t always bring up what I’m looking for, even if I know it’s there. It could definitely be more user-friendly when it comes to finding older messages or files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

MTs makes work feel more manageable. I don’t have to chase people down with emails or wonder where a file was sent. it’s probably in the chat or channel we used. I can quickly call or message someone without leaving the app, and that’s just way more convenient, especially when things get busy. It’s not perfect, but it really helps keep the team on the same page. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

The ability to chat, meet, call, and collaborate in real-time with colleagues regardless of location has significantly streamlined our organization's workflow. I particularly appreciate how Teams integrates with the broader Microsoft 365 ecosystem, allowing for seamless transitions between Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other applications directly within conversation threads.

The meeting experience stands out with features like background blur, recording capabilities, and interactive whiteboarding that enhance virtual collaboration. The platform's robust security features and compliance tools also provide peace of mind when sharing sensitive information. Additionally, the customizable channels and tabs system helps organize team communications by project or department, reducing email clutter and keeping discussions contextually relevant. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

The mobile app, while functional, doesn't offer the same smooth experience as the desktop version, making on-the-go collaboration more challenging than it should be. Additionally, the notification system could be more customizable to help users filter the truly important alerts from the constant stream of updates across multiple channels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Microsoft Teams solving and how is that benefiting you?

Microsoft Teams effectively solves the challenge of fragmented communication and collaboration that plagues many organizations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams is super helpful because it brings all your work into one place — chats, meetings, calls, files, and even tasks — without needing to constantly jump between different apps. It’s especially great for teams that already use Microsoft 365, because everything connects so smoothly. You can collaborate on documents in real-time, set up meetings easily, and manage tasks right inside Teams. Plus, it's secure, customizable, and keeps getting better with new updates. The biggest upside is how much it boosts productivity by keeping communication and collaboration simple, even for remote or hybrid team Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft Teams?

Microsoft Teams can feel overwhelming at first because of its complex layout. Notifications can pile up, and it sometimes slows down older devices. Without good setup, it can make work feel more complicated instead of simpler. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
