Pretty easy to set up process flows and have my team make edits simultaneously to the same breakout board while in brain-storming sessions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
At first the breakout boards section is confusing to me on how to navigate to different ones from the home screen. Also, we accidentally set up two workspaces, and I wanted to copy a breakout board from one workspace into the other, but there was not a simple way to do that. Instead I had to copy everything, then paste into a new board in the desired workspace. That worked out just fine, but would've been cool to import a given breakout board from one workspace to another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ease of use and tools are definitely much better than the competition. I tried a few different products in my diagramming projects and Lucid was the most comprehensive and easiest to use. Being able to utilize actual icons from the associated companies (Oracle, Google, etc.) was a huge plus, adding a visually validating flow of my efforts that made sense for my client audience. I would like the background grid to be something that I could snap to the center of my objects. When I am drawing out the diagram, sometimes it is difficult to see whether or not I am utilizing the appropriate spacing. The visual keys that pop up are nice and make it useful, just not as easily done with the naked eye when the grid is a bit off. Being able to snap it to my objects (or vice versa) and adjusting the grid size would be nice (this may be possible but I had not been able to find the feature). I think there could be some improvements on the ability to copy the style of objects to others. Objects with multiple colors and having only one of the colors be editable doesn't really align with our own company theme since it chooses an uneditable complimentary color automatically. Ease of use that Lucid Chart provides with its interface makes it our go to visualization tool. It integrates really well into Confluence which is our documentation tool, making it easy for the company to quickly understand the topic in hand. Lucid charts lets us implement various feature workflows. Various teams can come together in order to collaborate on a topic and bounce ideas. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Recently I came across the issue of licensing limitation where I would have to request a read/write access license instead of a read-only one. I would expect for corporate licenses, every user by default gets a license so that it doesn't delay the process or create a hurdle while defining charts or workflows Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really like how it is possible to collaborate in real time for working through different projects. We've done fishbone diagrams and deadline timelines and it has been extremely easy to use as well as there being no lag between putting in elements or writing in certain things. I think that sometimes certain functions are not intuitive, such as the random double clicking being a sticky note, or lines connecting to each other randomly and being unable to really manipulate them to be where you want them to be (or it automatically drags textboxes with it, or makes all other lines diagonal instead of horizontal when trying to extend one line). The best thing I liked was the real-time collaboration while working on the Diagram. I used Lucidchart to create a Company's EER diagram for my Database class along with my teammate. The project was very bulky and kind of tough to work on. Lucid helped us tremendously by seamlessly integrating both users work and allowing a real-time collaboration which really helped speed up the project. I tried three different software for the same project, and I found Lucid to be the most useful because of this one standing-out seamless functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My project involved creating a EER diagram which required access to a lot of symbols, and visuals used in that particular space. I didn't find those symbols or signs in Lucid and so I had to manually create them again and again which was a bit time-consuming. There should exist a feature that allows to draw double lines with a small margin between the two. Also, I liked how it had the feature to make the lined dotted, solid, etc. However, EER diagram involves worked with entity boxes which sometimes need to double line crossed, I didn't find a double-lined rectangular box in Lucid for this purpose. Also, I couldn't get a double line triangular box which is used to represent a identifying relationship in an EER diagram. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As an architect, I rely on Lucidchart almost daily for creating detailed floor plans and system diagrams that clients can actually understand. Lucidspark has transformed our design charrettes - we can capture ideas from engineers, contractors, and clients in one collaborative space. The ability to move seamlessly between conceptual sketching and technical documentation saves us valuable time during tight project deadlines. Dead simple to implement and super helpful customer support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The CAD integration could be stronger - we still have to recreate many elements rather than importing them directly. Large, detailed architectural diagrams sometimes lag during client presentations, which isn't ideal. The subscription cost adds up when equipping our entire design team, and some specialized architectural symbols and templates are still missing from the library. I love being able to add shapes and arrows when utilizing project creation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
adding my personal pictures to projects was a bit difficult, as sometimes I could not get it to the size I wanted, or could not erase some of the pic, as I would only want a certain part of the pic. Not a huge deal, but maybe we can have a way to edit and cut images a specific way from the Lucid program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Using Lucid is very easy and very user friendly, I used this to create a process flow and it turned out to be amazing and I have been pretty much using this tool post that, the tool has extreme features to design a process outflow and adjust the objects, arrows and keywords and it is easily shareable with your colleagues and friends, the integration was so easy that I had been able to finish a flowchart within a fraction of the time that I would take it creating on a word doc, the customer support team has been tremendously helpful on this product, plus you get a 1 month free trial use.
And Implementation of the tool is really awesome. as of now I think this is the best tool in this category available in the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no such flaws that I came through, maybe If I use this more often, I may find anything but as of now there are no such flaws. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've recently started using Lucid for my drawing and diagramming needs and have been extremely impressed. As someone new to this software, I found it incredibly intuitive and easy to learn. One of the biggest advantages I've experienced is its speed and responsiveness—unlike many other drawing tools that often lag or slow down, Lucid performs smoothly and reliably right within my web browser.
Lucid has significantly improved my workflow when creating detailed diagrams for residential new construction projects. It has streamlined collaboration with builders, architects, and clients, making communication clearer and more efficient. I'm genuinely thankful for how this software has simplified and enhanced my work. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of icons and icon libraries. However, importing icons is extremely easy as I find them on the web. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how seamless of an experience it provides to the user. The tools and the website are easy to navigate, even for those like myself who have little to no experience in using design tools. I think my favourite part is also the simple layout, despite all of the numerous features it provides to the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are no ai agents to help execute multiple tasks at once, this would enable things to get done quicker and with less "fiddling" by the user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
