What do you like best about Google Workspace?

What stands out most about Google Workspace is its ease of use and intuitive design, which makes onboarding and day-to-day operations incredibly smooth. Whether it's collaborating on documents in real-time or scheduling meetings through Calendar, the user experience is consistent and reliable across all tools. We use this in our daily operations.

Implementing Google Workspace was straightforward and required minimal training. The platform is familiar to most users, which significantly reduced the learning curve and allowed our team to adapt quickly.

Google Workspace integrates seamlessly with many third-party apps we use, including Zoom, and project management tools. This flexibility allows us to maintain smooth workflows without disruptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

While Google Workspace is a powerful and reliable platform, there are a few areas where it could be improved.

One limitation is the functionality of Google Sheets compared to more advanced spreadsheet tools like Microsoft Excel, especially when working with complex formulas or large data sets. Additionally, file organization within Google Drive can sometimes feel a bit cluttered or less intuitive, particularly when collaborating across multiple teams and shared drives.

Another minor drawback is that some third-party integrations may require workarounds or additional configuration to function optimally within the Google environment.

That said, these are relatively small issues compared to the overall benefits and efficiency Google Workspace brings to our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

Google Workspace has solved several key challenges for our organization, particularly around collaboration, accessibility, and workflow efficiency.

Before using Google Workspace, we struggled with version control and siloed communication. Now, with tools like Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides, multiple team members can collaborate in real-time, reducing back-and-forth emails and ensuring everyone is working on the most up-to-date version of a file.

The cloud-based nature of the platform allows our team to work from anywhere, which has been especially beneficial for hybrid and remote work. With everything stored in Google Drive, files are easy to access, share, and organize, even across departments.

Additionally, the tight integration between Gmail, Calendar, and Meet has made scheduling and communication much more efficient, reducing missed meetings and helping us stay on track.

Overall, Google Workspace helps us work smarter, faster, and more collaboratively driving real productivity gains across the organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Google Workspace?

Integrating Google Workspace with JumpCloud provides a centralized, cloud-based identity and access management (IAM) solution for modern IT teams. This combination is popular among organizations seeking to streamline user lifecycle management, enforce security policies, and ensure SSO (Single Sign-On) across multiple platforms.

Google Workspace + JumpCloud is a strong combination for organizations seeking modern identity and access management with robust security and automation. It’s particularly valuable for hybrid or remote teams managing users across different platforms. The integration requires thoughtful setup, but the long-term gains in control, efficiency, and security are well worth it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Admin Console Complexity

Steep learning curve for new admins—controls are powerful but often buried under multiple menus.

Inconsistent UI/UX across different settings pages (e.g., groups vs. apps vs. security).

Managing granular policies (like per-OU settings or exceptions) can become confusing.

2. Limited File Permission Granularity

While Google Drive is powerful, its file-sharing controls can get messy:

No clear audit trail for all externally shared files.

Hard to centrally revoke public links or manage file ownership at scale.

Can result in data leakage if not strictly monitored. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

Teams struggle to collaborate effectively, especially across locations and time zones.

Solution with Google Workspace:

Real-time collaboration in Docs, Sheets, and Slides.

Google Meet for easy, instant video meetings.

Gmail and Chat for streamlined communication in one place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Google Workspace?

Google Workspace has so many features that it is like asking which is your favorite child. I would have to say the integration with the other Google tools is what makes this the marketer's Swiss Army knife for productivity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Usually, I can find something wrong with anything if I think about it long enough, but with Google Workspace, the only thing that comes to mind about the 'dislike' is that my cost went up from 6 bucks a month to 7 bucks a month. But with all the AI features now available to me, that extra dollar a month seems like I'm taking advantage of Google. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering Google Workspace:

Google Sheets is always worth trying because you have zero downside. No cost and great support when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

Currently Google Workspace is allowing me to build a database of info within the Google NotebookLM that now allows 300 sources instead of the 50 non-Workspace uses have. Building complete workflows is much easier now with the help of Google Workspace and its built in AI features. There are a lot more but I'll leave it at this for now. I also rely heavily on Calendar for scheduling and Gmail for streamlined communication. The seamless syncing across devices and strong cloud storage with Google Drive keeps our workflow fast and accessible—especially when juggling creative assets, briefs, and timelines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

Sometimes, formatting between Google tools and external platforms (like Microsoft Office) can be inconsistent. Also, while the simplicity is great, a few advanced features in Sheets or Slides feel limited compared to their desktop counterparts. Offline editing can occasionally be clunky too. What do you like best about Google Workspace?

Google Workspace has completely transformed the way I work and collaborate with others. The suite of tools—including Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Meet—integrates so smoothly that it makes team productivity feel effortless.

What I appreciate most is how intuitive and user-friendly everything is. Even team members who aren't as tech-savvy pick it up quickly, which cuts down on onboarding time and makes adoption company-wide much easier.

Real-time collaboration in Docs and Sheets is a game-changer. Being able to co-edit, leave comments, and track changes live significantly boosts team efficiency. Calendar and Gmail integration also helps me stay organized and on top of meetings without juggling multiple tools.

Google Meet is another standout—clean interface, stable performance, and seamless scheduling directly from Calendar. Plus, everything lives in the cloud, so access from anywhere is never a problem.

Overall, Google Workspace strikes the perfect balance between powerful functionality and ease of use. It's reliable, flexible, and genuinely enhances productivity. Highly recommend for teams of any size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Google Workspace?

The best part about Google Workspace is that it is really cost effective and it has a lot of features like catch all feature, Group chat function and many more things. I have been using it along with my team and I can manage everything all under google space. I work on Google sheets and share it with my team members is again a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Workspace?

There are things which I dont use like Google Earth, Classroom and more. The only thing I dislike is not having the option to customize the features and select what is not required and get the subscription plan accordingly. I feel like I am paying for things which I don't use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Workspace solving and how is that benefiting you?

I have a small interior design services business and I required an email with my domain name. Google Workspace not only gave me the email access through my domain but also gave me Docs, sheets, presentations and many more applications included in the package. I has really helped me save costs as I do not have to spend more on different applications. Moreover, Google workspace is very affordable and also has enhanced security so my emails are already scanned before even it lands in my inbox. So google is benefiting me a lot in my business.
