Top-Rated HR App for Employee Management

I’m comparing HR platforms to help streamline how we manage our growing team from onboarding and time-off tracking to performance and payroll. Ideally, we want something intuitive that doesn’t require a full-time HR pro to operate.

These are a few apps I’ve seen highly rated on G2, but I’d love to hear from people who’ve actually used them:

1. Rippling: Known for automation and integrations. Is it as good for people ops as it is for IT?
2. BambooHR: Simple, clean interface—how does it hold up as your team scales?
3. Gusto: Great for payroll, but is it strong enough as a full HR platform?
4. HiBob HRIS: Very modern and culture-focused. Would love to know how teams feel about the day-to-day usability.
5. RUN Powered by ADP: Feels like a trusted name in payroll, but what’s the HR functionality like for smaller teams?
