Zoom is an extremely easy application to use in any setting. you can adjust your background to give an appropriate setting in an interview or group call. it's the modern post pandemic version of skype. you can use it at any time and it is easy to integrate into lectures or preparations before an interview. customer support is super easy because they have a list of common problems or features you can go through to help clarify the issue at hand. there's not really much to dislike about zoom workplace, if you need it for what it's intended for, it is self explanatory when you toggle around the features and its an excellent workplace to use as a starter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What I like best about Zoom Workplace is how reliable and easy to use it is. Whether it’s a quick team check-in or a larger client presentation, it just works — no complicated setup, no lag. The screen sharing, calendar integrations, and breakout rooms make collaboration smooth, and even non-tech-savvy teammates can jump right in without needing help. It's also great that Zoom continues to add features without making the platform feel bloated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing I dislike is that some of the more advanced features, like webinars or large meetings, require extra licenses or add-ons, which can get expensive. Also, the chat functionality feels limited — it's fine for quick messages, but not ideal for ongoing team communication compared to tools like Slack or Teams. Lastly, the whiteboard feature could be more intuitive and collaborative, especially when multiple people are brainstorming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Like many, I started using Zoom at the height of the pandemic. I found that the app improved as I, along with many others (classmates, professors, coworkers, and so on), continued using it. Zoom has everything a video-conferencing app *should* have: microphone/camera inputs, ability to screenshare, and large group conferencing. Within a month of regular usage, I became a pro. I'm using Zoom on a regular basis in my professional career. Every time we create a new or recurring meeting, I propose Zoom as "the most intuitive remote-video option." Sometimes, it isn't easy to tell whether someone is muted or not. While it has made for amusing pandemic-era blunders, I would love to see a clearer "UNMUTED/MUTED" indicator in the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Our organization moved from Zoom video only to the full platform (phone and meeting) after the adjustment to mostly hybrid work environments.
The implementation team held small group training, and provided user instructions. It was surprisingly easy to learn and begin using for daily phone call usage. It can be tricky to set up the right speaker/headset for rings and speaking, but once set, it remains that way.
For group meetings like department or all staff, it is so helpful! We can see everyone, blur or change backgrounds for more privacy of space, have group chats, breakout rooms, and more. Although I am not a user who sets up meetings, it is great that the link integrates with our Google platform email and calendar system.
Overall, it is working well for our organization with employees based in many states and countries, as well as many who travel consistently. It has also saved money on equipment and other fees by eliminating land lines. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The updates don't seem to have a warning. Meaning, there are new features or different layouts that are not apparent until joining a meeting. Then it is a challenge to learn them on the spot. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It offers a complete and simple work ecosystem for hosts and visitors to join videoconferences and webinars, managing the entire event flow, its planning, registration and participant control, and follow-up after the call is made. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The equipment may overheat depending on the number of functions being used simultaneously (virtual backgrounds, camera, screen sharing, etc.), although certainly, the performance is much better than other options on the market. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Many upsides of Zoom Workspace make it easy to love once you try it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No downside from my side, but one thing I noticed is that it makes my old system very slow. However, it works fine on a new system. In my opinion, it is quite heavy for older systems. Other than that, I haven’t seen any issues with it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I've been using Zoom Workplace regularly for synchronous online classes, and it’s been a great experience. It allows real-time interaction with students, smooth presentation sharing, and a stable connection that supports clear communication throughout the session.
As a teacher, I appreciate the built-in tools that help manage class time and engagement. The timer feature is perfect for keeping activities on track, and the student reactions—like raising hands, emojis, or quick feedback—make it easier to maintain an interactive environment without constant interruptions.
Screen sharing is seamless, and the annotation tools are especially helpful when explaining content visually. Overall, Zoom Workplace is a practical, all-in-one solution that works great for daily teaching and professional tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Zoom Workplace offers many helpful features for online synchronous classes—like screen sharing, student reactions, and timers—I've found that many educators aren't fully aware of how to use these tools effectively.
The platform has great potential for dynamic, engaging classes, but without proper training, most teachers end up using only the basics. I wish there were more structured training sessions or tutorials specifically aimed at educators to help them design better class dynamics and use Zoom’s tools to their full potential. The newly implemented collaboration features rival competing products from Slack and Microsoft. We actually switched from Slack to Zoom because most of the same features were included in Zoom Workplace. Since our people were already used to Zoom Phone, adoption of Zoom Workplace has been significantly better than it was when we rolled out Slack. The actual implementation of Workplace was effortless on our part since we were an existing Zoom Phone customer. The Workplace features were simply rolled into an updated version of the Phone client and just started working for our people after the upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing. It does what we need and then some with very little fuss or attention from IT required. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Zoom Workplace is one of the easiest apps I have used during my work experience. It provides easy calling and texting features. Furthermore, it does not have lag problems like other apps and has clear and smooth calling and meetings. It's easy to implement your workforce and get things done accordingly. It has best customer support. Also it's easy interface provides the user to use it frequently as well as it give easy integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing to dislike about Zoom Workplace, but sometimes it takes time to open the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a recruiter, I can say Zoom Workplace has become an indispensable tool for managing my day-to-day interview schedules. Some of the best things I like about it are integrated scheduling and calendar sync, which makes it incredibly easy to send invites and block time for screening calls or panel interviews—no back-and-forth needed. And, HD video and audio clarity help ensure that communication is smooth, especially during high-stakes interviews where first impressions matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Zoom Workplace is a solid tool for interview scheduling and virtual meetings, there are a few areas that could be improved from my perspective. I would say occasional syncing issues with calendars, especially when rescheduling interviews or handling last-minute changes. Sometimes, candidates receive outdated links, or time conflicts arise.
