We didn't like the implementation of the Custom Apps. It felt like a rip off to have to pay someone from your team to do the initial set up. We were left still confused and dont feel like we are using it to the fullest potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I think Ripping is very easy to use. I use it very often, for checking my paystubs, submitting my expenses etc. And I find it very easy to use every time. Rippling is listed on the front of the page (along with other apps ) when I login (with okta). The only thing I find weird (and not sure if its just me) that I have to login again in Rippling while other apps auto logs me in using my SSO authentication. To start, the UI is fluid, organized, and intuitive. It's very easy to find what you need and have all the information you seek, just a few clicks away. What I love about Rippling is how many different uses it has and how easy it is to navigate. I use it both as an employee and as an admin—managing direct reports, handling hiring, and even spending with my company card. The hiring flow is especially smooth, and the system walks you through each step. I also use my Rippling card regularly and love how seamless it is—when I make purchases, I get a text to confirm it's me, and I can snap a photo of the receipt immediately and attach it to the transaction—all within Rippling. It makes expense reporting feel seamless. I also appreciate that Rippling sends reminder emails if a transaction is missing documentation.

Sometimes the receipt I upload doesn’t attach to the transaction and ends up in “drafts,” but I haven’t been able to locate the drafts, which can be frustrating. Also, the platform creates an action item every time someone is moved through the hiring process, which feels a bit excessive and clutters the to-do list unnecessarily. As an international contractor, I really appreciate how easy and efficient Rippling makes the entire HR and payroll process. I receive my payments on time, without any complications, and the interface is extremely intuitive; I can even change the bank account where I receive the payments without having to contact anyone from my client company. I also like that we can schedule time off and holidays.
From onboarding to accessing documents, completing assigned tasks, and finishing training modules, everything is centralized and easy to navigate. Also, I receive reminders of tasks I haven't completed yet allowing me to meet due dates. I use it every week to see assigned tasks and to track payment status. Since I started using Rippling over half a year ago, I've never had a single issue. Everything has been very easy and efficient. My contract was sent through Rippling; it was simple to read and sign. The app is intuitive and guides you through the process.
Then came registering my information for the international company I work for. Everything was smooth, and I had no trouble entering my bank or tax details. What I love most is being able to manage my money myself. I really appreciate that they always send a lovely email letting you know it’s payday, it’s super motivating thanks to the animations they use.
The money arrives in my Rippling account, and from there, I can choose how much to transfer to which bank account. There’s even an automatic option to send it straight to your bank, but I prefer to manage it gradually. I like that I can send it to different accounts, which helps me organize my personal finances better.

I love how easy it is to find everything I need with clear sections and links. I don't have to search around the site to find what I am looking for. The home page is inviting and easy to navigate. I love that I am able to make time clock adjustment requests without having to get a manager involved. Rippling integrates into my daily tasks with ease, and as something I use multiple times per day, it makes it easy for me to switch back and forth while implementing the app. I haven't yet needed customer support, due to the accessibility and ease of navigation with the app, but I'm sure it would be fantastic should I ever have the need. The ability to manually add and manage Expenses with multiple receipts at one time is wonderful! The ease of generating expenses in Rippling by text is also a major upgrade compared to Navan! Previously using Navan, it had similar tools, but the automated receipt tool seemed to take longer or not be able to transcribe a physical receipt as well as Rippling has done!
I have not utilized Rippling customer support, but orientation back in April with our HR person and Rippling trainer was very straight-forward.
Love the following features:

- Automated Expenses by text message are easy!
- Manual Expenses are easy!

It has been less than 1 month since utilizing Rippling, but so far I have not had any issues. Colleagues of mine mentioned the following:
- No Car Rental functionality currently
